Great article is there any chance I can take it and copy it onto my own blog
I got the rub, and seasoning from him while on vacation in Destin. I’m a firefighter as well, and I cant wait to take this the fire house. I’ve tried both at home and they are awesome!
Thanks so much. Hope wherever home is it’s not as hot as it is here. Appreciate you trying them out. I really tried to get some major flavor without all of the salt.
Just ordered the cookbook and can’t wait to get it. I lived in Gonzales as a kid and love to cook cajun and creole foods like I remember eating as a kid back in the day. I have all the guys in my Firehouse hooked on Jambalaya, Gumbo’s, Sauce Piquant,Red Beans and Rice, etc… Love cooking at the firehouse so I’m getting the book for our crew at PCFR Station #27. Thanks Brother…
